President & CEO
Brenda, a Texas horse woman with a flair for adventure, gave up her horse ranch in Gonzales to accept God’s divine challenge for her life: “To combine her ranching, nursing, and ability to rough it into a unique rescue program for orphans in remote parts of Africa.”
During her 22 years of ministry in Mozambique, Brenda, founder and CEO of Orphans Unlimited, has built and managed two orphanages, 21 churches, a medical clinic, and a feeding center to stop malnutrition in babies. A job skills training program for orphans and widows will continue in 2013.
Brenda’s desire is to bring God’s love, hope, and a future to these children who were “left behind” after 17 years of civil war. The Minister of Social Services proclaimed that her program is “a model that other organizations should copy.”
